Like in all variants of poker, the objective is to beat out the other players and take the ‘pot'. With Texas Hold'Em, you want to make the best hand you can out of five cards. There are a variety of strategies and tactics to Texas Poker Holdem, too make you a better player. One of the most important elements of play is reading your opponents and knowing the difference between a bluff, and a winning hand.
Tips
• You get two cards and these cards set you apart from all other players. Everything depends on these two cards. Do you have a winning hand? It depends greatly on the community cards.
• Community cards are laid on the table for all other players to see. At this point you can't focus on yourself. You need to understand and focus on what these community cards mean to the other players. Keep your eyes open for straights and flush opportunities from your opponents.
• When looking at your two cards, make absolutely no facial expressions and contain any excitement you may have. If you have a pair greater than ten, and you take a deep breath, you might as well fold before the flop.
• It all comes down to the cards in your hand. It's a sure bet, you will start off with bad hands, but you have to be patient. The good ones will come through eventually.

Poker is supposed to be fun and entertaining. There may be a few, who will tell you, it's all about the money. Not true at all, to be honest, you can lose more than you can win. There are some table manners which should be respected when playing Texas Hold'Em. Learning them, could prevent you from looking like a giant Jack-ass.
Tips
• Never reveal your cards while in play online Poker. While it's not actually against the rules, doing this can give one player a huge advantage over the other. This will ruin the pot for someone and make you enemy number one.
• If you folded before the flop, then realize your cards would have made a winning hand, whatever you do, don't lose your cool. Banging your head on the back of the chair, or your hands on the table, just makes you look stupid.
• Don't make fun of other players, or verbally abuse them in anyway. If their hand seems dumb to you, keep it to yourself. Like Mama always said, ‘if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all'.
• Never blame the dealer, this needs no explanation. Its common sense, just show some respect.
• If you're out, don't talk about a hand; in fact don't talk at all. Nobody wants to hear your advice or two cents.
